My time at the starburst aerospace accelerator…

Think of it as a cross of Boeing aerospace engineering, NASA space systems engineering, McKinsey project analysis, and Startup Bootcamp networking. Starburst Aerospace is one of the world’s premier accelerators for aerospace startup companies. As an intern at Starburst I was directly involved in high-level business operations, and having the ability to vote in weekly meetings on which companies to offer spots in the accelerator, and am a vital part of the technical deliberations that result in the funding of a new startup company. At Starburst I helped to manage and develop the accelerator program through the following end-to-end activities:

-Using engineering analysis to generate reports on new companies technological viability and present findings
– Startup sourcing and scouting to constantly be abreast of the latest developments in the startup ecosystem
– Research, data analysis, and producing industry reports that keep us as industry thought leaders
– Support with logistics, e.g. office space and event management – we are a startup after all and this is the full experience of creating and running everything from scratch, in a lean setup
